Bordon development achieves prestigious ‘Built for Life’ accreditation

David Wilson Homes’ Heritage Quarter development in Bordon has started off on the right foot, achieving top marks in the prestigious ‘Built for Life’ accreditation.

The five-star house builder is creating 144 homes at the new community as part of a major regeneration project in the town, and says the accolade is proof of its commitment to creating the very best new communities.

‘Built for Life’ approval is designed to give homebuyers confidence that important design elements during the planning process have been checked. Developments are judged on a rigorous 12 point system, all of which must be satisfied to achieve the award.

Recognising excellence in design quality, safety and community, the scheme is a government-endorsed industry standard for well-designed homes and neighbourhoods.

Scoring highly in all 12 categories, homes built at Heritage Quarter have been designed to integrate in to the local community as well as providing a safe, secure and attractive environment to live in.

Tim Hill, managing director at David Wilson Homes, said: “We are thrilled that the quality of homes at Heritage Quarter has been recognised by our industry peers with this accrediation.

It’s a credit to our design team, which has put the community and future residents at the heart of its thought process.“
