Pair of global gym brands land at WestWork White City

The massive new mixed-use development currently taking shape in London’s White City will soon boast two international gym concepts targeted at the area’s burgeoning community of professionals.

Both Studio Lagree and F45 have taken 4,000 sq ft studios at WestWorks, part of a 290,000 sq ft office development that is encompassed within Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan’s White City Place scheme.

The Studio Lagree site will be the brand’s third in London, providing residents with its specially designed workouts based around resistance and counter-resistance to place muscles under constant tension.

Robert Lepone, Managing Director, Studio Lagree (UK) commented: “We are very excited to be opening our third London location later this year at White City Place and our 10th location globally. The Studio Lagree Group operates in four countries, Canada, USA, Germany and the UK.

“Our latest location will feature the Lagree Fitness Method, using 16 patented Megaformers, and our Studio KO box-fit format. This location provides us with a footprint that spans the London area and enables our clients to visit all three studios.”

F45 on the other hand is currently undergoing aggressive expansion into the UK market, with 31 sites planned in the UK and Ireland over the next 12 months.

Devised by Aussie and former equities trader Rob Deutsch, the gym will provide a range of 29 high-intensity workouts and group training sessions.

Following confirmation that both gyms would be making White City Place their new homes, David Camp, Chief Executive, Stanhope said; “The arrival of these two global gyms is a brilliant step forward in our vision for White City Place as an exciting and dynamic environment that caters for employee’s wellbeing.

“Local workers, residents and students will have a brilliant opportunity to make use of these fantastic gyms as well as our broader amenities.”
