South Shields energy broker to create 40 jobs with Liverpool expansion

The Green Energy Advice Bureau is creating 40 jobs by expanding into the North West.

The energy broker will open a Liverpool office this weekend (July 1) with 20 new employees in place across sales and admin teams.

North East-headquartered Green Energy Advice Bureau said it is expecting to double its workforce over the next six months.

The company is aiming to help SMEs in the North West save money by sourcing the most cost-effective green or traditional energy solutions.

Managing director Paul Cobb said of the expansion: “We can’t wait to open our new North West office.

“Not only are we looking forward to working with and helping many amazing local businesses, but we will be providing some fantastic career opportunities for people in and around Liverpool, especially those interested in sales.”

Green Energy Advice Bureau is expecting to work with between 500 and 750 new clients in its first year in the North West.

Speaking further, Paul said: “We’re really excited to start working alongside North West businesses to help them evaluate and understand their energy usage and expenditure before creating bespoke procurement and sustainability proposals that are specifically suited to their organisational requirements.”

The firm’s head of training and development, Andrew Parke, commented: “I might be biased but The Green Energy Advice Bureau is a brilliant place to work.

The Green Energy Advice Bureau was founded in 2015 and has already achieved £3m in sales since the start of the current financial year. The firm is headquartered in South Shields.
