MCS Properties sets out growth plans for newly acquired Fylde business park
MCS Properties has acquired Peel Hall Business Village in Lancashire.
The family-run property firm is now working on a masterplan for the 12-acre business park over the next three to four years, as it looks to attract further tenants.
Peel Hall Business Village is located between Lytham St Annes and Blackpool, near Junction 4 of the M55.
The Fylde scheme currently provides multiple parking for 10 local companies carrying out commercial and industrial activities.
MCS was advised on the acquisition by a team from North West law firm Napthens, led by commercial property head Paul Hardy with assistance from solicitor Sophie Coane and trainee solicitor Matthew Parr.
The company is run by the Brook family, who founded Lytham-based Calderbrook Construction – the building firm behind sites on Amy Johnson Way in Blackpool and St George’s Court, Kirkham.
Duxburys Commercial, led by Adam Taylor, was the agent for the sale of the development. Paul Walton, of Preston-based planning consultancy PWA Planning, also advised.
Napthens’ Paul Hardy said: “This site has great potential and the Brook family have the resources and ideas to develop it and make a real success out of the business village.”
Chris Brook of MCS commented: “We’re committed to help with the continuing growth and demand of businesses within the Fylde coast and are already receiving plenty of interest in the site.
“There is also a lot of work to carry out. So far we’ve spent time on ground work to tidy the area up, but we’re planning drainage work, landscaping and developing the existing units.”
He added: “We’re working with the council and are keen to create a master plan for long-term, sustainable growth for the site that will have the potential to create a number of new jobs for the area.”
