CEO recognised for excellence
Manchester man, Antony Miller, Director and CEO of our sister company, 2020 Trustees, has been named as Pensions Manager / Trustee of the Year by a panel of pensions experts at the industry equivalent of the Oscars.
The Pension Scheme of the Year Awards celebrates excellence in the pensions industry and Antony (48), beat off stiff competition to be voted overall winner by a panel of his peers.
The Pension Scheme of the Year Awards judges’ said: “Antony adds real and tangible value to the schemes that he works with and demonstrates a clear, risk-based approach to governance, which increases the ability of his clients to meet long term challenges. He is an independent trustee that focuses on what matters – member entitlements and a scheme sponsor’s viability” Antony has more than 25 years of pensions, actuarial and trusteeship experience. He is widely considered to be one of only a handful of experts in the UK experienced in dealing with complex and difficult pension scheme situations and works closely with both the Pensions Regulator and the Pension Protection Fund.
Nigel Jones, a fellow Director of 2020 Trustees, said: “This award is richly deserved and fully reflects Antony’s hard work and dedication. His guidance has enabled 2020 Trustees to become a leading independent trustee firm since its inception just over four years ago.”
2020 Trustees has over 30 members of staff including seven fully qualified actuaries servicing over 100 clients across the country.
