Home care provider completes move to Business Central Darlington

A home care provider, which helps people live independently, has relocated to Business Central Darlington.

Established in 2012 by Amanda Jackson, Fountains Home Care Ltd provides home care in Darlington and the surrounding areas.

The business aims to keep clients as independent as possible in the comfort of their own home, which in turn retains their quality of life.

Each individual receives person-centred care dictated by their needs and preferences. This can be anything from 24 hour care, end of life care, or pop in visits, to cooking meals, housework, and taking care of pets.

Now with an expanding workforce, the company has made the moved to new premises in the centre of Darlington.

Amanda explained: “There’s a real demand for quality home care in the area and having a base at Business Central is perfect for us to meet the needs of the people of Darlington.

“Our care plans take into account all aspects of the person’s life. We pride ourselves in treating each individual with dignity and respect, ensuring each plan is tailor made.

“Changes to your physical abilities does not mean you have to stop enjoying life, and we want to get that across to the people we work with by encouraging and rehabilitating them to be independent.”

Vanessa Wood, centre manager at Business Central, added: “I am delighted to welcome Fountains Home Care to Business Central.

“Amanda and her team are very passionate about providing a quality service to the people of Darlington and we are proud to have them based at our centre.

“Business Central is now home to a variety of companies from all sectors and I am sure Fountains Home Care will fit right in with our business community.”

Amanda continued: “Our service users will also meet the same carers where possible to ensure a familiar environment and we’ll work closely with doctors, district nurses and social services to ensure we provide the best care possible.

“Moving to Business Central which offers the whole package, will work to strengthen the company’s presence in the town. The facilities here are fantastic and include an on-site fitness studio which is ideal and allows you to take time out during the working day.”
