ProtOS and D2L reach every learner in Spain
Last month, D2L, a global learning technology leader, announced a new reseller agreement with protOS, a leading provider of education technology in Spain. As D2L continues its rapid expansion across EMEA, this agreement will enable protOS to offer D2L’s innovative virtual learning environment (VLE) Brightspace to higher education institutions and training departments at a number of enterprises across the country.
ProtOS works with customers and partners to help them design, develop and deploy innovative education initiatives powered by technology. ProtOS has experience working both with public listed companies and medium-size businesses in Spain. The multi-disciplinary team at protOS supports face-to-face training strategies, as well as 100% online training and professional development programs. ProtOS invests time and resources in research, innovation and collaborative projects with other leading institutions throughout Europe.
“We are extremely excited about this agreement. We pride ourselves on delivering top-class learning experiences and D2L’s Brightspace platform provides the high level of personalisation and granularity in both its online and blended learning programmes that is required to meet, and exceed, the needs of our diverse customer base in Spain,” said Pablo Cervera, CEO of protOS, Education.
Brightspace is mobile, offers real-time analytics, a personalised learning experience and complete accessibility, all within one flexible VLE. The dynamic and mobile Daylight interface enables instructors to design courses easily, create content and grade assignments on any device. These attributes enable them to tailor learners’ experiences to fit their individual needs and goals. “Brightspace truly represents the next generation of learning. In-depth learning analytics, competency-based training and personalisation of experience are just some of the immediate advantages that Brightspace brings to the table when compared to competing learning platforms,” concluded Cervera.
“This deal with protOS comes at an important juncture for D2L as we continue to grow our business across Europe. ProtOS has years of experience, both nationally and internationally, in the education technology field and it’s clear that both of our organisations are committed to innovating, improving and enhancing the learning experience in Spain,” commented Elliot Gowans, VP EMEA at D2L. “We are extremely happy to welcome protOS to our rapidly expanding global reseller network.”
