VR tech delivers sales success for Delph Property Group
Delph Property Group is celebrating after selling 15% of the apartments at The Hallmark in Manchester on the scheme’s launch weekend.
The property firm said more than one unit was sold off-plan every hour.
The Hallmark, located in the city’s Green Quarter, comprises 145 apartments and is designed with a boutique hotel feel.
Delph Property Group has attributed the early sales success to virtual reality (VR) technology.
The company said VR headsets, made available for customers to use at the sales events, helped generate buyer interest.
Delph Property Group’s head of sales and marketing, Richard Forman, said: “The demand we received during the first weekend of sales is a clear sign that experienced investors are seeing the opportunities that exist outside the capital.
“The virtual reality headsets we are using at the sales events are proving to be highly effective in generating sales and are a much-welcomed leap forward in presenting off-plan development to the public.”
He added: “Now viewers can step inside the apartments and get a sense of how it will look and feel, bringing their investment to life.”
