Wolff secures planning permission for Marlow country estate
Boutique architecture firm Wolff has announced it has been granted planning permission for a country estate in South Buckinghamshire that will give prospective buyers a full view of the English countryside.
The Notting Hill-based practice has achieved consent for a proposed 12,000 sq ft development in Marlow that will boast seven double-bedrooms, along with some high-specification additions.
These include a bar and wine store, a classically-styled courtyard gardens, along with a separate swimming pool and spa complex. The property itself will be styled in the tradition of a grand country manor, with tall chimneys and high ceilings, as well as full-length windows surrounding the ground floor.
Following confirmation of planning permission, Nick Pritchett, director of Wolff Architects, said: “We are delighted to be given the green light for this project – the latest in a series of successful planning applications for technically complex developments in exclusive locations.
“Ridge End marks a continuation of Wolff’s pedigree in creating homes that seamlessly blend timeless, aesthetically pleasing styles with creative and thoughtful features.
“The result is a home which owners can both enjoy and be proud of, situated in one of the most culturally rich areas of the country.”
Construction of the development is due to begin in late Summer 2017, with completion scheduled for late 2018.
