SALT.agency expands into digital security services with CyberScanner

Technical marketing agency SALT.agency is today announcing that it is expanding its services into cyber security by releasing its CyberScanner security service.

A ground-breaking tool designed by SALT.agency’s in-house team, CyberScanner has the ability to scan and analyse websites to test thousands of known security vulnerabilities.

In a world where cyber-attacks are happening on daily basis, including the WannaCry ransomware attack, which attacked parts of the NHS in May, businesses are starting to look for services to identify digital vulnerabilities in their security.

CyberScanner is a tool that that probes both active and passive security tests, before delivering tailored and detailed reports.

With the ability to provide integral security information to the world’s largest and most complex websites, CyberScanner can help companies avoid expensive cyber emergencies as they move towards a stronger culture of security.

Reza Moaiandin, technical director at SALT.agency, said: *“CyberScanner is one of the first cyber security tools in the world that uses advanced finger printing technology for its passive scanning, capable of monitoring millions of websites with little effort. *“This is further advanced by using its own HackerStep technology to simulate a hacker’s move based on platform and technology a website uses, making it one of the most capable cyber security tools in the world. Currently capable of identifying over 65,000 known vulnerabilities.”

John Ward, director of operations at SALT.agency, said: *“We have designed our tool with both business leaders and technical teams in mind, allowing businesses of any size to easily monitor their security status. “With the implementation of GDPR coming in May 2018 for EU countries, companies in the UK need to understand and protect their digital properties and CyberScanner is there for businesses that are serious about security and data protection.” *
