If you go down to the woods today… 5* housebuilder celebrates Teddy Bear’s Picnic Day with local primary school!
In celebration of Teddy Bear’s Picnic Day this month, local housebuilder, David Wilson Homes, hosted Hoylandswaine Primary School’s Year 1 class at its nearby St John’s Walk development.
19 children, aged between five and six, enjoyed a picnic lunch funded by David Wilson Homes, and the housebuilder also provided bubbles, colouring books and David Wilson Homes dog teddies to help them remember the day.
Katy Cushing, Sales Adviser at St John’s Walk, commented: “It was lovely to have some of the children from Hoylandswaine Primary School visit the development to celebrate Teddy Bear’s Picnic Day with us! They all really enjoyed the day and loved the activities and toy dogs too! We believe in creating and nurturing strong relationships in the communities in which we build, so we always try and work on interesting projects with schools local to us.”
Kerrie Shepherd, Year 1 teacher at Hoylandswaine Primary School commented: “We were delighted that David Wilson Homes invited the children along to St John’s Walk for a lovely Teddy Bear’s Picnic! They were all excited to visit the development and were very happy to take away their very own little David Wilson Homes dog!”
St John’s Walk is a beautiful countryside development of four and five bedroom homes, located in the sought after village of Hoylandswaine, available to purchase from £381,995.
