Vernon Building Society members happy with Stockport mutual
The Vernon Building Society has been backed by its members after a positive customer survey.
Nine out of 10 Vernon customers say they would recommend the mutual to friends and family.
Ian Keeling, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Vernon, says the results show the society’s customers value ‘a personal service’.
Vernon customers were quizzed following the release of the annual report in March 2017.
A total of 88% out of more than 800 respondents say they would recommend the Stockport mutual – an increase of 4% on 2015.
The survey also revealed the following results:
- 93% ‘believe the Vernon treats me fairly’
- 92% ‘trust’ the Vernon.
- 95% say the information they receive is ‘clear and easy to understand’.
“We are delighted with our survey results which are a reflection of the great people we have working for us,” said Ian Keeling.
“In a world increasingly dominated by automation, the ratings we have from our members show just how valued a personal service is.
“That said, we’re not complacent and we have exciting plans to improve our customer experience even further.”
Customers are also happy with the Vernon’s new website with 88% finding it ‘informative and easy to use’.
