Côte Brasserie creates 40 jobs as new restaurant opens at Trinity Leeds

Côte Brasserie, the French-inspired restaurant chain, officially opened in Trinity Leeds on Monday, 24th July.

Trinity Leeds, which is owned and managed by Landsec, announced that the 4,000 sq ft restaurant is one of Côte Brasserie’s largest sites, with almost 200 covers.

Côte Brasserie spent more than £1m in creating its Parisian-style brasserie on the upper level of Trinity Leeds, overlooking the centre’s galleried atrium space.

Designed by Cantor Masters, the new Côte Brasserie incorporates a mix of oak plank and French concrete floor tiles, grasscloth and gold leaf wallpaper as well as banquette, booth and loose seating.

Trinity Leeds’ newest dining offering also comprises a bar area to the front of the restaurant, which has only been incorporated in one other location. Additional features also include mirrored coffered ceilings, the bespoke bar design and a circular waiter station.

The restaurant opening has created over 40 new jobs across its management, service, and kitchen teams.

As for the monthly changing menu, the restaurant offers a selection of locally sourced seasonal dishes, along with classic French delicacies and an extensive French wine list.

Rob Jewell, portfolio director at Landsec, commented: “Trinity Leeds is a day and evening retail and leisure destination anchored by vibrant experiences. The opening of Côte, with its authentic Parisian offering, further enhances the exciting food and beverage line-up.”

Alex Scrimgeour, CEO at Côte Restaurants, said: “Leeds is such a busy, thriving city and we are delighted to be opening right in the heart of town.

“Trinity Leeds has a great reputation for offering a diverse range of food and drink options, we look forward to adding our blend of quality French food, friendly professional service and great value to the mix.”
