Stockport-based Hallidays brings in 120 new SME clients with latest acquisition
Accountancy firm Hallidays has expanded its client portfolio with the acquisition of Stockport-based Kevin Pitchford & Co.
Kevin Pitchford, of Kevin Pitchford & Co, is now a member of the Hallidays team run by director Anna Bennett, bringing with him more than 120 small- and medium-sized clients.
Specialisms within the team, which works with business owners to help them grow and develop their SMEs, lie in the academy sector and not for profit.
Anna has worked with schools for a number of years, advising them on capital projects, cashflow, budgeting and KPI measuring.
She said: “We are delighted to officially welcome Kevin. Kevin has been closely linked with Hallidays for some time supporting us with our academy work and through our Accountants Support Forum, which supports sole practitioners so he was an excellent fit for Hallidays.
“I welcome the knowledge and expertise he brings to our team.”
Kevin Pitchford commented: “After much consideration, I recently made the decision to retire from full time work.
“I have considered the future of the practice with a view to merging with a local firm, who could offer a professional service, with the additional support that would be beneficial to both clients and myself.”
He added: “I have worked alongside Hallidays for a number of years and have benefitted from their expertise and input. I feel that they are an ideal choice to take over my practice.”
The deal follows Stockport-based Hallidays’ acquisition earlier this year of Hazel Grove firm Edmondson & Co.
