Independent art gallery courts couples with wedding open day
An art gallery in the heart of Newcastle is opening its doors to brides and grooms-to-be this month for its seasonal open day.
The Biscuit Factory – shortlisted for Best City Venue in the 2016 UK Wedding Awards - hosts its wedding open day on Saturday 12 August 2017, 12pm – 3pm.
Guests can explore the gallery’s purpose-built Biscuit Room, which is one of the largest events spaces in the city, accommodating up to 150 guests for a ceremony and 250 seated guests for a meal and party.
The Biscuit Factory’s events team will be available throughout the afternoon to talk to couples about the venue’s unique portfolio of services, The Wedding Collection. Brides and grooms-to-be looking to tie the knot in 2018 can also take advantage of 10% off their booking, for a minimum of 80 guests*.
Guests can also tuck into a selection of handpicked canapés and home churned ice creams on the day as a taster of the venue’s in-house catering; accompanied by a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival.
Located in Newcastle’s cultural quarter, the Ouseburn valley, The Biscuit Factory is an award-winning art, craft and design gallery housed within a former Victorian warehouse, providing weddings with an inspiring, alternative backdrop that’s characterised by collections of contemporary artwork, wooden beams and reclaimed brickwork.
