Robertson North West secures £9m Jaguar Land Rover dealership contract
Building services firm Robertson North West is constructing a multi-million pound Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Chester.
Under the £9m contract, Haydock-based Robertson will deliver showrooms, office space, workshops and a parking roof deck for auto dealer Hunters.
The new facility, located on the site of the existing dealership on Sealand Road, will comprise around 64,500 sq ft of space.
Darren Sterling, operations director at Robertson North West, said: “This is a stylish and exciting project to have been selected to deliver.
“Our experience with similar construction projects will enable us to deliver the structure to the highest standard and we are looking forward to starting work.”
The Hunters contract is the latest in a string of recent car showroom projects for Robertson, bringing the value of dealership schemes delivered in recent years to £50m.
Quantity surveyors and construction cost consultants Lumsdon Wood Partnership is appointed to oversee the project.
Robertson North West started work on site in July and expects the development to take 54 weeks to complete.
