Manchester's The Blackmore Group plots first London site in Ealing
A new joint venture between Manchester-based property firm the Blackmore Group and luxury house builder Lusso Homes is to begin work on their first project with the development of new luxury homes in West London.
The JV will oversee The Park scheme in Ealing, which will consist of eight four-bedroomed houses with Blackmore’s share funded through the Manchester-based developer’s own Blackmore Bond, a fixed rate four or five year bond for investors.
The site itself will be Blackmore’s first outside of its North West heartlands and part of its push into the London market, complementing major schemes currently underway such as its transformation of St Augustine’s Church in Cheadle Heath, Stockport and 54-unit project at Longridge near Preston.
Patrick McCreesh, managing director of The Blackmore Group, said the company was hunting for further developments in the UK and hailed Surrey-based Lusso Homes as the ideal partner for its first London site.
He commented: “Lusso Homes is an award-winning developer which is renowned for its creativity and innovation, making it the perfect partner for The Blackmore Group.
“The Park is a very welcome addition to our growing portfolio and we continue to seek out new residential development sites across the UK.”
Lusso Homes director Tony Martin added: “We were looking for a project partner with whom we could develop a long-standing relationship and The Blackmore Group is the ideal fit.
“We are confident that this will be the first of many successful joint ventures and look forward to building a strong and enduring partnership.”
