Property and construction professionals gear up for summer bash
Professionals from the property, construction, development and infrastructure sectors will gather for a summer social in Manchester city centre on Thursday, August 10. The event is being jointly organised by the Forum for the Built Environment’s Manchester branch and the Forum for Tomorrow, the FBE’s section for under-30s. It will take place at the Impossible Manchester restaurant and bar on Peter Street from 5pm to 9pm. Alongside informal networking, food and drinks, there will be a virtual reality demonstration of key Manchester developments. The event, which costs £15 for members and £35 for non-members, is being sponsored by chartered surveyors GIA and construction and regeneration group Morgan Sindall. The ticket price includes food and two drinks. Gemma Price, head of business operations at Salford Quays-based construction project management company Recom Solutions, who is on the FBE Manchester committee, said: “It’s sure to be an entertaining evening at a new and exciting city centre venue, but places are limited so I would encourage anyone interested to book as soon as possible.” To book your place, visit http://www.fbeonline.co.uk/manchester/events/fbe-and-fft-manchester-summer-social-event.htm For more details on the event, contact gemma@recomsolutions.co.uk or AnitaSingh@hydrock.com.
