Sheffield telemarketing firm to create 50 new jobs after landing national energy supplier contract
Ant Marketing, the Sheffield-based telemarketing specialist, is set to create up to 50 new jobs after securing a contract with a national energy supplier, ScottishPower.
The telemarketing firm, which boasts a team of 350, is launching a summer recruiting campaign as a result of its new contract with ScottishPower.
Founded in 1989, the £7.5m turnover business is a contact centre outsourcer delivering marketing, sales, research and customer service programmes to some of the largest brands in the world.
Simon Hunter, account director at Ant Marketing, said: “We are very proud to win such an illustrious contract and delighted it is boosting the local economy by bringing extra jobs to the city.
“The new recruits will bring us to an all-time employment high and we hope there will be more jobs to come. Successful delivery for ScottishPower could lead to further contracts with them.”
Ant Marketing was founded by its chief executive officer Anthony Hinchliffe in 1989 from his kitchen table in Sheffield.
Anthony Hinchliffe, founder and chief executive officer, added: “We are one of the UK’s top telemarketing companies with a strong reputation for delivery in the utilities, banking and finance, insurance and automotive sectors and are now in a strong growth period.
“This is a result of the hard work from our fabulous colleagues - the best in the industry. The energy we have put in over the last year to predict the future demands of the multi-channel opportunities is now paying off.”
Recruitment campaigns will run in August and September to find up to 50 full time tele-marketers who will work nationally to source new customers for the energy provider.
They will work from the company’s Sheffield contact centre at Antenna House on St Mary’s Road.
