Together expands commercial and auction team
Together has appointed a new business development manager covering auction finance and commercial funding, as the specialist lender continues to grow.
Samantha Emery, who has more than a decade of experience in financial services, has joined the commercial department and will work with customers in the South East of England as the business continues to widen its distribution.
She was previously employed by Barclays bank, where she held various roles including account manager, personal banker and branch manager. Before joining Together, Samantha was a premier manager at the high street bank, looking after a portfolio of nearly 700 high-net worth clients.
Samantha said: “I love meeting new customers and building up strong relationships with them, and I’m delighted to be able to use my skills to help enhance Together’s presence in the South East. I’m really impressed with the company’s appetite for common sense lending, where each individual’s situation is manually reviewed – it’s refreshing in an industry where other lenders tend to rely on a ‘computer says no’ approach.”
Daniel Owen-Parr, commercial sales director at Together, said: “We are really excited to have Samantha join us. She will be operating in the professional and auction sectors, at a time when the business is really growing its presence across the country. Samantha comes with a wealth of experience in financial services, having held senior roles at Barclays, and will be an asset to our growing team. “
Together has a current loan book of over £2 billion, with exciting growth plans for further growth. Its commercial product range is constantly evolving, most recently with a new specialist buy-to-let range and an increase in buy-to-let loan size to £2 million from £500,000. The company’s commercial team, from sales to underwriting, has been rapidly expanding as the business continues to expand.
