Urban Splash celebrates North West deals totalling 30,000 sq ft
Regeneration firm Urban Splash has secured deals on 30,000 sq ft of space across its North West portfolio.
The transactions include nearly 8,000 sq ft of lettings at the Tea Factory in Liverpool’s Ropewalks area, with new occupiers including record firm 3 Beat, software company Yozu and property investor RW Invest North Limited.
Spaces, the Dutch co-working community that moved into Tea Factory last year, has also welcomed a raft of businesses, with 66% of its desks now let.
Other deals struck in Liverpool over the last month include close to 4,000 sq ft let at the Vanilla Factory, which neighbours Tea Factory and is now home to the back office operation of Mowgli Street Food, as well as Modularize construction projects and Property Moose Limited.
Urban Splash’s commercial manager, Nicky Harries, said: “One of our original transformations, the Tea Factory occupies a great location in the vibrant Ropewalks area of Liverpool.
“It’s long been loved as a great building, but we wanted to inject a few more contemporary aesthetics and facilities to help broaden the appeal to all businesses.”
Nicky added: “I’m delighted that the investment has had such an impact – taking our building from 45% to 95% let.”
In Manchester, Urban Splash has now fully let Waulk Mill after agreeing a deal with J2 Recruitment Consulting for the last vacant unit.
At the firm’s Schoolhouse scheme in Trafford Park, People Solution Group snapped up space while existing tenants One Agency Media Ltd upsized.
