Small businesses set for boost as new TaxAssist Accountants office launches in Pudsey
TaxAssist Accountants has launched a brand new shopfront office on Lidgett Hill, Pudsey, after 18 years providing tax and accountancy services to the small business community across West Yorkshire.
Will Swift set up the business in 1999 before opening the first TaxAssist Accountants shopfront in Horsforth in 2003, and now looks after more than 500 small businesses across the region.
In response to growing demand from existing small businesses and new businesses starting up in the area, Will and his team of eight decided to expand with a second shop opening in Pudsey.
Will said: “With the business going from strength-to-strength in Horsforth and a growing small business culture in and around Pudsey, it seemed like the perfect time to look out for a new centrally placed office in the town and the shop front on Lidgett Hill seemed to be the ideal location.
“Demand for our services continues to grow and the new second office gives us the opportunity to grow with it.
TaxAssist Accountants Pudsey operates across Leeds and Bradford, providing tax and accountancy advice and services to businesses and taxpayers alike.
Will added: “We are also delighted to welcome accounts apprentices Dominik Horn and Cameron Whitaker to the team and use our experience to support them through their ATT qualifications.
“We are confident they will be a real asset to the team. Too often young people leave university or college with no real experience of working life, whereas apprenticeships allow them to train in their chosen career and also gain invaluable work experience.
“We’re planning to host an official office opening later this year to get to know our neighbours and other local small businesses.”
