Whitehouse Event Crockery expands with new staff and 10,000 sq ft Wythenshawe warehouse
Glassware and crockery business Whitehouse Event Crockery has doubled its team and moved into a new warehouse.
The Manchester-based company created five jobs and secured a 10,000 sq ft warehouse facility at Sharston Industrial Estate to accommodate a growing demand for its services in the events sector.
With its expanded operations, Whitehouse said it is now able to provide equipment for events of up to 1,500 people.
Among the newcomers is Laura Poole, who was appointed office manager at the firm’s Wythenshawe HQ.
Whitehouse founder Marc Gough said: “Last year was one of the busiest we have experienced as a business and we have been able to sustain that level activity while continually growing our client base.
“From smaller dinner parties, to weddings and large corporate events, everyone at Whitehouse has worked hard for the past few years to help grow this business into what it is now, and we are looking forward to providing the best service for our clients going forward with our expanded team and new depots across the UK and Europe.”
