FFR launches SME recruitment game changer

Leeds-based online recruitment specialists Flat Fee Recruiter is launching a new IT system that makes recruiting staff much easier to manage. Designed specifically for SMEs recruiting between 20-60 staff per year, the Flat Fee Applicant Tracking System (FFATS) has been tested by a range of companies nationwide over the past three months including Hiscox Home Insurance, Sun Chemicals, GWP Packaging, Prodigy IT Solutions, Arrow Self Drive and community care provider Pure Innovations.

Commenting on the release of FFATS, Flat Fee Recruiter’s managing director Lis Wilson said: “The feedback we have had to the new system has been so positive. All the planning, developing and testing has proved what we thought – that companies are ready for the next step in online recruitment.

“There are a number of good platforms for posting and managing job adverts but many users feel they just don’t go far enough. We’ve been working hard to develop an intuitive system that integrates fully with a company’s own website and social media outlets from any device and we’ve done it. Now companies can have a much slicker, tailored recruitment function that promotes their company and doesn’t cost a fortune in time and money to manage. Our IT team has done another great job ensuring we stay ahead of the online recruitment curve!”

FFATS is plugged directly into the employer’s website. Applicants can then fill in applications online and book interview times which are tracked and fully managed by the system throughout the recruitment process. All jobs advertised using FFATS are automatically posted onto social media sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook and other recruitment platforms as selected. Joanne Vose, HR Director at Red Elephant HR who has been testing FFATS added: “We are highly delighted with the new system, it’s so quick and simple to use. It’s fantastic to have a recruitment solution that bolts-on to our recruitment activities so seamlessly. Our job ads now directly reflect our company branding and I can see which ads are getting the best results. Our website also now has a fully functioning careers section which will help us build our own talent bank and if I need to share any information about the progress of a job vacancy with any of my colleagues, I can safely and really easily.

“This is going to make a big difference to the way a lot of companies manage their recruitment. Many SMEs feel frustrated about recruiting because they think there isn’t anything out there that sits between the online job boards and more expensive recruitment consultancy but there is now.” FFR, whose offices are in Horsforth, was formed in 2012. The company employs 12 highly experience recruitment and IT development staff.
