Merseyside accountant launches new four-strong South Liverpool practice
Merseyside accountant Jon Davies has established a new practice in Liverpool.
His business, Jon Davies Accountants, now operates at the Business First Centre in South Liverpool with a four-strong team of senior client managers.
Jon has worked in accounting for 23 years, during which time he held senior director roles with Ernst & Young and BDO LLP.
For the last six years, he was joint owner of Liverpool-based MJF Accountancy.
The new firm said it already has more than 100 clients on its books, including NHS finance consultancy Assista Consulting UK, cooker manufacturer Bertazzoni and local tourist attraction The Casbah Coffee Club.
Jon, a former business growth adviser for the Entrepreneur’s Circle, said: “There’s so much more to accounting than spreadsheets and cash flow forecasts and I want to use my experience to understand my clients’ businesses, help them make key decisions and, ultimately, assist in their future growth and success.
“My team of qualified accountants can act like non-executive directors, able to advise and spend time learning about how their clients’ businesses work day-to-day.”
He added: “The more closely they are involved with the companies, businesses and individuals within our portfolio, the better we can help tailor strategy to help them grow.”
