Caddick Construction to build £4.1m Jag Land Rover showroom in Kendal
Building firm Caddick Construction has secured a multi-million pound contract with auto dealer Lakeland Land Rover to deliver a new showroom in Cumbria
The £4.1m scheme will see the Warrington-based company build a Kentdale dealership on the corner of Shap Road and Gilthwaiterigg Lane in Kendal.
Caddick, which has already started work on the project, is updating and extending the site’s existing showroom to create new workshop and retail space.
The scheme also includes external grading and surfacing for additional parking space.
Andrew Murray, managing director of Knottingley-headquartered Caddick Construction, said: “It’s great to see that our automotive portfolio continues to flourish and we’re very excited to work with Kentdale Jaguar Land Rover for the first time.
“The new showroom will be visually impressive in its prominent position on the A6 as well as meeting the expectations of customers.”
Lakeland Land Rover director Eric Hadwin commented: “The Hadwin family and staff are looking forward to the finished job and are pleased that Caddick Construction is currently on time and working with us to minimise the disruption to all our customers.”
Caddick will be on site for 52 weeks with completion due in 2018.
