Inprova Group volunteers support The Footprints Foundation in South Africa

This September, Warrington-based Inprova Group is sending seven volunteers to support The Footprints Foundation volunteering programme in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The team will support a number of projects managed by the foundation during a week-long visit. They will spend their time working with local teams, getting stuck into daily activities such as painting, gardening, maintenance and teaching at the orphanages and communities supported by The Footprints Foundation.

Other tasks carried out by volunteers will include food preparation, followed by visits to the schools and neighbouring orphanages to distribute food.

Bob Holt, Chair of Trustees at the Footprints Foundation commented, “I am delighted to host the Inprova team in South Africa in September. Footprints support a number of orphanages and community projects and the Inprova volunteers will be embraced by all the locals who will be in awe of their contribution. “

Paul Kennedy, CEO at Inprova Group said, “We are really pleased to have been able to put forward a team of volunteers, from the UK and the US, for this year’s Footprints Foundation volunteer programme in South Africa. Inprova are proud to support The Footprints Foundation and fundraising has been an ongoing focus for teams across the group.

“Colleagues, suppliers, clients, friends and family have helped to raise funds and awareness by supporting a number of activities set up by the team, from pub quizzes, charity parties, cake-sales, to sponsored walks and even mud runs! Having seen first-hand the work of the Foundation, I am happy to be able to further support the charity by extending this opportunity to Inprova volunteers.”

The Footprints Foundation aims to tackle the problems and issues facing disadvantaged and vulnerable young and elderly people, and those people with significant health issues. The charity supports these people during the most trying periods of their lives and helps give them the strength and confidence to enjoy a fulfilled life.
