Tonbridge resident comes out top for second time this year!
Following his success earlier this year after achieving the joint highest grade worldwide for his P2 Corporate Reporting paper in accountancy, Daniel Powley from Tonbridge has once again come out top of the class receiving the shared highest mark for his most recent accountancy examination.
Along with thousands of other students from across the world, Daniel sat the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) P6 Advanced Tax Paper in June, scoring 91 out of 100.
Daniel, who has worked at Perrys Chartered Accountants in Tunbridge Wells since he joined the business as a trainee accountant in October 2013, received nofitication of his results last week, which mean he is now a fully-qualified accountant. His incredible achievement will now be recognised by ACCA with a certificate of merit and £200.
Commenting on his latest results Daniel said:
“To come top of the class for my first paper back in January was a real buzz, but to achieve the highest grade once again is really unexpected. I am so delighted with my results and looking forward to continuing my work at the practice as a fully-fledged accountant.”
Simon Hayden, Partner at the Tunbridge Wells branch, added:
“Dan should be really proud of himself. It is an incredible achievement and we are all absolutely delighted for him and offer him our warmest congratulations. We have no doubt Dan will continue to do well in everything he does and will be a credit to our company, and invaluable source of expertise to his clients.”
