£500k invested in new spa at Bannatyne health club in Wakefield

The Bannatyne Group has opened the doors to a brand new Spa in Wakefield, following a £500k investment.

The new spa features six treatment beds, OPI branded manicure and pedicure areas and a relaxation area with waterbeds and heated loungers.

The investment has also created eight new jobs.

The Spa treatment list includes bamboo, chocolate and lava shell massages, from a range of brands including Elemis, as well as those specifically designed by The Bannatyne Group’s own therapists.

The health club features a sauna, steam room, spa pool, newly-refurbished cafe bar and 20m swimming pool.

Karen Wilkinson, group head of spa for The Bannatyne Group, said: “This major investment in Wakefield is part of our roll out of seven new Spas in 2017.

“The new Spa is an essential part of The Bannatyne Group’s ongoing mission to deliver a holistic health and wellbeing service to our customers and will enhance the health club facilities.
