Econocom announces Jade Solutions as latest addition to Group

Econocom acquires 85% stake in the mobile technology and Wi-Fi solutions provider

Richmond-upon-Thames, 13 September 2017: Econocom UK, a leading provider of digital transformation solutions, has announced a deal that sees Jade Solutions, a UK-based enterprise mobility solutions provider, join the Econocom group. The deal involves Econocom acquiring an 85% stake in Jade Solutions.

The move sees the Econocom Group continuing its expansion in the UK and Ireland, and is another step forward in its journey towards becoming a full digital services provider.

Jade specialises in rugged mobile technology, wireless networks and guest wifi working with a galaxy of major clients in the retail, transport and logistics sectors. Its latest innovative Crowd Wifi solution empowers retailers, hoteliers, restaurants and businesses to interact with, engage and learn from their customers’ behaviour. With 43 employees, Jade reported £12.75m revenues in 2016.
