Double the Joy for Webhelp Stars in Kilmarnock

Leading global customer experience and business process outsourcer has recognised the top talent at its Kilmarnock site at the business’ annual Star Awards.

The talented team from Kilmarnock scooped one of the top Star Awards and came second in another. The awards, presented at a glittering Cirque du Soleil- themed gala dinner and party in the glamourous surroundings of Edinburgh’s The Hub, were created seven years ago to recognise excellence across the business at a team and individual level.

Natasha Sanders was named People Leader of the Year (non-team leader) and Kirsten Stewart was runner up in the Making a Difference Award.

David Turner said: “I am extremely proud of the team in Kilmarnock and I am delighted that they have achieved recognition at our Star Awards again this year.

“We chose Natasha to receive the People Leader of the Year award because her team leaders describe her as truly inspirational. Natasha will have been with the business for 10 years next month and in that time she has developed from an excellent team leader into a fantastic operations manager. She is a fantastic example of how commitment and dedication can lead to a satisfying and rewarding career in the contact centre industry.

“The Making a Difference Award seeks to recognise those individuals who play an important role in their communities and make a real difference to a particular charity. This is always an especially difficult award to judge because so many of our people do great work for local charities and causes. However, this year I am delighted to say that we have selected Kirsten Stewart as a runner up in this category for the great work she does for the Ayrshire Hospice. Following her heroic efforts to raise money by jumping out of a plane we couldn’t fail to play our part by adding to her already impressive fund raising total!”

Natasha receives a cheque for £1,000 and Kirsten receives a cheque for £500 for her charity, the Ayrshire Hospice.
