Online auction firm John Pye Property chooses Salford Quays for Northern HQ
Online property auction firm John Pye Property has opened a Greater Manchester office for its Northern HQ.
The company’s new 6,500 sq ft base, located in Salford Quays, represents the start of a wider move to expand in the region.
John Pye Property is part of John Pye Auctions – one of the UK’s biggest auction houses with 650 auctions held every year across 23 sites nationwide.
Richard Reed, head of property at John Pye Property, said: “We are selling more property in the North West than ever before, including one of our biggest auction successes when Trafford Park Hotel in Manchester sold for nearly three times the guide price, so it was evident that we needed a base here.
“We already have a team based in Manchester and will be looking to recruit more chartered surveyors and agents over the next few months.”
He added: “We are looking forward to roll out more property sales in this region over the coming months.”
To secure its footing in the North West market, John Pye worked in partnership with Manchester property entrepreneurs Atif Malik and Ayyaz Ahmad.
Atif commented: “John Pye Property is revolutionising the property auction industry. It was the first company to offer property auctions entirely online and as a result are fast becoming one of the leading property auction companies in the country.”
