PM+M’s annual quiz raises over £1,100 for Pendleside Hospice
A quiz for local businesses that was organised by PM+M - the chartered accountancy, business advisory and wealth management group - has raised over £1,100 for Pendleside Hospice. This is the fourth year the quiz has been staged and was once again held at Ewood Park.
Over 60 people attended with 20 teams competing from across the various sectors including banking, insolvency, property and legal.
Categories included The Year 2017, Arty Farty, What’s the Connection, Pot Luck and Quotes from Donald Trump.
The winning team was Woodcocks Haworth & Nuttall who scored 85.5 points. The runners-up were Forbes Solicitors, who notched up 79.5 points, followed by Clough and Willis Solicitors who came in with 78.5 points.
Jane Parry – managing partner at PM+M – said:* “Our annual quiz just gets better and better so we’d like to thank everyone who came along and supported the event. It was a fantastic evening and I’m thrilled we raised so much for such a worthwhile and important local charity.”*
