Merrion Centre to become home of beauty outlet's first Leeds city centre store
Glamour Forever, the beauty treatment outlet, is set to open its first Leeds city centre shop at in the Merrion Centre.
Earlier this year, the Merrion Centre announced plans to increase its retail space with the addition of a range of new, contemporary units in the Wade Lane mall.
These mall improvements follow on from the opening of the ibis Styles Leeds City Centre Arena Hotel and adjoining Marco’s New York Italian restaurant and bar.
Along with the opening of the merrion Centre shop, Glamour Forever now has over 30 units across the UK.
The beauty therapists offer treatments that include eyebrow waxing, eyebrow threading, eyelash extensions, lash and brow tinting, hair and nail styling and facial massage.
Alongside Glamour Forever, Your Loan Shop has taken up one of the new retail spaces. The final two tenants will be announced in the coming weeks.
Sumeet Sarao, managing director of Glamour Forever, said: “We are really excited to be opening our first store in Leeds city centre.
“The Merrion Centre is going to be a fantastic location for us to offer our beauty treatments due to its central location and proximity to a huge amount of shops, offices and the ibis Styles Hotel. We can’t wait to get started!”
Helen Green, associate director of Town Centre Securities, owners of the Merrion Centre, commented: “We are delighted to welcome yet another new tenant that will add another reason for busy shoppers and visitors to come to our centre.
“This year has been hugely successful for us already as we’ve seen the return of Jumbo Records and the opening of the new ibis Styles hotel and Marco Pierre White’s only restaurant in Leeds.
“The Merrion Centre continues to evolve and improve which contributes to delivering not only a wider choice of retail and leisure offerings for our customers, but an increase in footfall as we welcome a new audience to the Arena Quarter.”
