R & M Developments announces deal with Radcliffe Borough FC

R & M Developments has agreed a package of advertising and sponsorship support with the Northern Premier League side.

The deal between the leading building and civil engineering contractors, based in East Manchester, and Radcliffe FC will run for the rest of the 2017-2018 season.

With a turnover of £12 million and employing 120 people, R & M Developments is one of the region’s leading suppliers to the residential and commercial construction sectors. The deal includes an eight-foot long pitchside advertising board, a regular advert in the match programme and an extensive website presence as a Club Partner.

It also includes Sponsors Lounge admission for up to 10 guests a game, four season tickets and team entry to the club’s annual Golf Day.

Thomas McKenna, Managing Director of R & M Developments, said: “We have had an informal relationship advising on property matters for a while and established a good connection. We are delighted to be now moving onto a formal sponsor arrangement in support of a profile-raising campaign for the company.”

Radcliffe’s Chairman Paul Hilton commented: “Tom’s building and related experience has been invaluable to us and we are very pleased that he has now agreed to become a sponsor. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial association.”

Ex-Premier league striker – formerly with Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Everton and West Brom – Kevin Campbell also welcomed the new association.

Radcliffe Borough FC was formed in May 1949 and currently plays in the Northern Premier League Division One North. Radcliffe Borough won the division in 1996–97, won the playoffs on 2002–03 and reached the first round of the FA Cup for the first time in its history in 2000.

Home games, played at Stainton Park, attract an average of 1500 supporters.
