Popular B&B Grove House has been sold in Leyburn
Grove House, an established B&B in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, has been sold through Leeds property specialists Fleurets.
The purchasers are Adrian Norbury and Dustin Mevis who have moved to Leyburn from Warwickshire. Fleurets acted on behalf of Paul and Helen Blades, and the Grove House freehold was sold for an undisclosed sum from a guide price of £575k.
A Grade II Listed property, Grove House is set in the Yorkshire Dales market town of lower Wensleydale, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Dating back to 1757, Grove House is one of the oldest buildings in Leyburn and provides seven individually styled letting bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities.
The sale of Grove House was brokered by Nick Thomas of Fleurets, who commented: “Having acted previously when Paul and Helen acquired Grove House, it was good to continue the relationship and act for them in the sale to Adrian and Dustin.”
Whilst Dustin has experience in interior design and bespoke furniture sales, Adrian has an extensive relevant background, having studied hotel and catering management with 33 years of hospitality experience in hotel management, as well as sales and marketing having worked previously for Jarvis Hotels, and Rosewood Hotels & Resort.
Nick Thomas added: “The opportunity to acquire a home and lifestyle in this attractive North Yorkshire market town with the benefit of an established business was not lost on Adrian and Dustin who have our good wishes for the future.”
Fleurets is the largest firm of Chartered Surveyors in the United Kingdom exclusively specialising in the sale and valuation of hotels, restaurants, pubs and leisure property.
Defined by honesty, integrity and outstanding client service, the company offers a full portfolio of services across all areas of the leisure and hospitality sectors.
