Manchester Airport office park changes hands in £25m deal
Investment manager Longmead Capital LLP has acquired Trident Office Park at Manchester International Airport in a deal worth around £25m.
The 106,000 sq ft, four-building development was sold by Property Alliance Group.
Currently 90% let, with occupiers including software company Avecto and manufacturer Renold, the site recently underwent a multi-million-pound refurbishment and re-modelling programme.
The Grade-A office scheme’s amenities now include a café, gym, shower facilities, bike hub and on-site parking.
Alex Russell, managing director at Property Alliance Group, said: “The sale of Trident office park is testament to the strength of both our offices and asset management teams.
“We responded swiftly to market demand, providing high-quality refurbished office space as well as unrivalled on-site amenities.”
He continued: “This has resulted in a first-class business location, which has quickly achieved record rents, attracted high-calibre tenants and helped occupiers to recruit and retain talent.
“We are immensely proud of the success of Trident and wish Longmead Capital future success with its new asset.”
Speaking further, Alex said that following the sale, Property Alliance Group is now “actively looking” for new sites across the North West and Yorkshire to bolster its offices portfolio.
Property Alliance Group was represented by real estate services firm CBRE. Colliers International acted for Longmead Capital.
