ARIAN EMS LTD opens new design division following a successful three months

After only 3 short months of trading, ARIAN EMS Ltd in Ashington are not only announcing sales well ahead of forecast, 4 new customers coming on board, creating employment opportunities but also the opening of ARIAN TECHNOLOGIES Ltd.

ARIAN TECHNOLOGIES is the design division set up as a stand-alone company to increase the product and services on offer from ARIAN.

ARIAN TECHNOLOGIES Managing Director is Mark Vernon.

Mark, himself a leading design engineer is developing an excellent team around him: “Setting up Arian Technologies Ltd alongside EMS was a strategic move to allow us, as a new design house, to seamlessly support developments from concept through into production, whilst allowing us to remain fully focused on what we do best, which is to design great products.

“Being co-located as we are means we can prototype faster and we get excellent feedback from production that can be used in all our designs. This makes us better designers. We can take part in structured NPI (new product introduction), DFM (design for manufacture) and FMEA (failure mode effects analysis) processes within the production environment. This results in reliable products which have been designed for manufacture and allows a faster time to market. Compared to working with independent designers and CEMs the advantages to customers are huge.”

Arian Technologies Ltd can provide a full range of design capabilities including analogue and high speed digital electronics design, switch mode power supplies, opto-electronics including LEDs, Camera and Imaging technology, firmware development including ARM and parallel processing on GPUs - and more.

Mark has a lifelong passion for Technology and Innovation with 25 years’ professional experience designing commercially successful products and leading international multi-functional engineering teams. He has worked with world leading companies such as Bosch, SONY, FLIR and NASA. One of his products has even been installed on the International Space Station!. Other projects include Augmented Reality for Assisted Surgical procedures and a 360 degree camera to be deployed on a satellite.

He has won several awards including Innovation and Technology, NE Business Awards. Arian Technologies has the world class, design experience for all your projects.

The partnership is seen by our customers as the way forward adding value in numerous ways, Technologies & EMS are already working on a number of projects for differing markets.
