Charity ball given a real lift from lift company

INTERNATIONAL lift company Stannah have stepped up to support this year’s Calvert Ball.

Stannah will be a bronze sponsor for Calvert Trust Kielder’s Autumn-themed Ball at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead which will see guests enjoying dinner, fine wine, live entertainment from Livewire and lively and inspirational chat from compere for the evening Joshua Riffe.

Stannah’s North and North East Branch Manager Stuart Graham is confident this is the start of a great partnership.

“Calvert Trust Kielder is a fantastic charity and one which many of our customers can relate to and benefit from. We appreciate what a fantastic job they do and want to help in any way we can, so we’re really looking forward to the Ball and are proud to be supporting an event which makes a huge positive difference to many people’s lives.”

Stannah joins silver event sponsor Patricia J Arnold & Co Ltd and room décor sponsor JR Holland Food Services. Also pledging support and donations for this year’s Ball are Perro Design & Communications, Hilton Newcastle Gateshead and Robson Print. Calvert Trust Kielder is a registered charity and is respected globally as a leading provider of outdoor experiences for disabled people.

Fundraiser Charlotte Crumbley is thrilled to have Stannah on board. She said: “The Calvert Ball is a very important fundraiser for us and a great night out with family, friends and work colleagues while, at the same time, supporting the 5,000 guests who visit Calvert Trust Kielder every year.

“An amazing £25,000 was raised at last year’s ball, with the funds raised already making a positive impact on the services that we provide to our guests. Each year gets better and better, I’m confident this year’s Ball will be another brilliant night out and fundraising event for us.”
