Key Capital Partners moves to larger offices in central Leeds

The growing Yorkshire team at private equity house Key Capital Partners (KCP) has moved from its offices at Prince’s Exchange in Prince’s Square to larger offices in Park Place, just off City Square, Leeds.

With its headquarters in Leeds, KCP has seen rapid expansion over the last two years following the launch of its latest fund in November 2015. As a result, the team has doubled in size and the move to Park Place will enable it to continue to grow. The new premises also gives the firm better facilities with a dedicated board room as well as a smaller meeting room, while enabling it to remain in the heart of the Leeds business district.

“With new members of the team joining and further expansion planned, we really needed more space and these new offices also give us a better working environment with our own dedicated meeting rooms,” explains Owen Trotter, managing partner of KCP. “Park Place is a fantastic location just a few minutes’ walk from the railway station and close to the other professional advisers and intermediaries with whom we regularly work.

“With our Leeds and London teams already having completed four deals this year and a strong pipeline of further exits, we expect the coming months to be extremely busy as we continue to invest in high growth SMEs in Yorkshire and beyond.”

As well as Mr Trotter, KCP’s Leeds team includes investment partners Peter Armitage and James Hall, investment manager Seb Wilkinson, research manager Laura Howes and office manager Monica Kalia.
