Clothes2order.com invests £250k to create 20 Trafford Park jobs
Personalised clothing company Clothes2order.com has takon on 20 new staff with a six-figure investment.
The Trafford Park-based firm spent £250k to install embroidery and vinyl printing machines, ramping up capacity and creating production jobs.
Clothes2order.com, which now employs more than 140 people, also used the investment to upgrade its existing direct-to-garment printing equipment.
The company prints and embroiders logos and designs on t-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, caps and other items of clothing for businesses, teams and communities in over 35 countries.
Clothes2order.com has now invested £1.5m in its operations in the last four years.
Sam Jones, the firm’s managing director, said: “The extra capacity and staff numbers enable us to keep pace with the rapid increase in demand we are experiencing.
“It took a decade for the business to produce one million logos, and now we are printing or embroidering over a million designs each year.”
He continued: “We’re seeing especially strong growth for workwear, in sectors such as hospitality, construction and leisure. Demand for embroidery on caps is also buoyant.
“We are continually investing in the latest equipment to ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry in terms of speed, flexibility, quality and colour vibrancy.”
Clothes2order.com is part of £12m-turnover business Quayside Group.
