Jet2 announces 50,000 additional summer seats from Leeds Bradford Airport
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has announced the addition of 40,000 summer seats in response to the increased demand at Leeds Bradford Airport.
This follows on from the leisure airline confirming an extra 15,000 winter seats earlier last week.
The addition of thousands of flights and holidays for Summer 2018 includes extra services and larger aircraft, which will operate to summer sun destinations such as Alicante, Faro, Lanzarote, Malaga, Majorca, Paphos (Cyprus), Rhodes and Zante.
This announcement means that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has put more than 50,000 additional seats on sale from Leeds Bradford Airport since last week, in response to the extra year-round demand from local holidaymakers.
Across the UK, the leisure airline and package holiday specialist has added over 650,000 summer and winter seats at its Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted bases.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Today’s addition of 40,000 summer seats and means that we have put more than 50,000 new seats on sale this week from Leeds Bradford Airport.
“This is in response to the enormous demand for flights and holidays throughout the year from local holidaymakers, and to support that we have put on thousands of our award-winning flights and ATOL protected package holidays to meet this demand.”
