Early Birds in Stockport Snap up New Brinnington Homes

Savvy Stockport home buyers have already snapped up 30% of the new three-bedroom homes at Countryside’s upcoming Blackberry Vale development in Brinnington, Stockport. Prices start from £159,950.

With the show village due to open this autumn, 30% of the 98 plots at the Blackberry Lane development have already been reserved off-plan, which highlights a real surge in demand for high quality but attainable homes in the area.

The site, which is situated on the edge of Reddish Vale in Brinnington, offers high-specification, three-bedroom, freehold homes with an affordable price tag.

Georgie Cox (30), who has reserved an Ashwell home at the development with husband Trevor (48), said: “We knew as soon as we viewed the showhomes at Countryside’s other developments that we wanted to buy a Countryside home. We’d looked at other developers who are building nearby but it felt as though they were missing something – I just couldn’t put my finger on it. Once I stepped foot inside an Ashwell showhome I knew it was the perfect home for us. The specification is second-to-none and we simply couldn’t fault the home design.”

The pair, who have been together for 10 years, are using the Government’s Help to Buy scheme to secure their home with just a 5% deposit. They are currently renting a two bedroom Victorian house whilst they wait for their moving date.

The Blackberry Vale show village will showcase three of Countryside’s most popular house designs. Including the Ashwell, which is a three-bedroom home that boasts an open-plan kitchen/dining area complete with skylights and stunning French doors that lead out into a large, landscaped garden.

Georgie added: “I can’t wait to open up the French doors to the garden and watch our 9-year-old dog Monty run around. We’re also looking forward to long dog walks across Reddish Vale – we’ve completely fallen in love with the location of the development, it’s beautiful.”
