ASOS targets its London audience with same-day delivery
Online retail brand ASOS has announced that it will begin same-day delivery for its consumers starting from today.
Coined ‘ASOS Instant’, the service will initially be available to those only in London, and when orders are placed before 10am from Sunday to Friday.
This super-fast service will set consumers back an additional £12.95 per delivery, with parcels being delivered between 6pm and 10pm that same day.
ASOS’ delivery solutions and returns director, Matt Rogers, commented: “ASOS has a history of innovation - in our use of technology, our trend-setting fashion, and in the best-in-class delivery and service propositions we offer our customers.”
This comes after the like of Tesco launched its same-day click and collect service in August. The retail giant is aiming to make its same-day delivery available to more customers in other major cities around the UK within the next few months.
ASOS Instant has been added to the retailer’s other options already available for consumers in their shopping baskets. These include: next-day delivery, click-and-collect, one-hour delivery slots as well as free returns.
ASOS (As Seen On Screen) was founded in June 2000, and now sells over 850 worldwide brands to its predominantly millennial audience, and ships to over 140 countries.
