Calling all cocktail connoisseurs: The Leeds Cocktail Experience will return this month
Cocktail connoisseurs will be delighted to hear that The Leeds Cocktail Experience will return to the city this month as local mixologists battle it out to create the best alcohol concoction.
Taking place across two floors at Aspire, Leeds on Friday 20th October, the third installment of the event will house at least 16 of Leeds’s most esteemed bars and restaurants including The Alchemist, Tattu and East 59.
The bars will be working closely with premium liquor brands such as Grey Goose, Tanqueray and Jack Daniels to produce a bespoke cocktail that they hope will wow attendees. In an effort to flaunt their talent, taste inspiration has come from all over the world such as Tattu’s Asian-inspired ‘The Elixir of Life’ featuring Jinzu Gin and East 59’s NYC tinged ‘The Midtown’ in collaboration with Ciroc.
Following a successful sell-out second event in March, the pressure is on for October’s event to deliver another busy night. As well as the mixologists shaking up alcoholic delights, DJ’s will provide the entertainment and the opportunity to upgrade to VIP status for the evening with luxury VIP lounge hosts, Angelica’s.
Organisers PR, Marketing and Events agency Hairy Lemon and Pink Gorilla are no stranger to the leisure and lifestyle industry. Joining forces a few years back, they’ve since attracted big names including The Alchemist, Revolucion de Cuba and Topshop.
Jordan Odu, Director of Pink Gorilla, said: “We’re delighted to see the return of the city’s most established brands [for The Leeds Cocktail Experience], as well as newcomers such as Red Door, Tattu and East 59. We’ve always focused on the party aspect of our events, to ensure the night is as much about having fun as it is showcasing the biggest and best cocktail bars that Leeds has to offer.
“Leeds has smashed it in 2017 and is now rivalling Manchester as the country’s premier party city.”
Tickets for the event are available from £15 on The Cocktail Experience website.
