Work starts on huge new industrial units in St Helens
Construction work is now underway on four new industrial spaces at Mere Grange in St Helens.
Ranging from 18,500 sq ft to 26,350 sq ft, each of the speculative units will have self-contained yards, staff parking and a minimum eaves height of 8m.
Property services firm CBRE and B8 Real Estate have been tasked with marketing the scheme for developer Network Space.
The units are located next to the A570 St Helens Linkway.
Network Space’s head of property, Stephen Arnold, said: “We are delighted to have commenced construction works at Mere Grange.
“There is a shortage of supply of good quality industrial accommodation across the region and we believe that the timing is right to bring forward this scheme.”
Headquartered in Newton-le-Willows, Network Space is a developer, investor and manager of commercial property.
The firm has a development pipeline with a GDV of £200m alongside a £140m retained investment portfolio.
The new units at Mere Grange are due for completion by June 2018.
