Cable leader puts on showcase
Leading supplier AEI Cables showcased its market-leading products to the offshore oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors, at recent international trade events.
Based in Birtley, near Gateshead, AEI Cables attended Offshore Europe in Aberdeen, and the HUSUM Wind event near Hamburg in Germany, flagship trade shows for their sectors.
Key personnel from AEI Cables attended to showcase its products which include fire resistant cables for use in power, lighting and instrumentation for electrical installations in ships and offshore facilities.
Ashish Chaturvedy, responsible for group marketing and communications at Ducab, the parent company of AEI Cables, said: “Trade events like Offshore Europe and HUSUM Wind are great opportunities to not only showcase our own products and to meet potential customers, but also to keep on top of the latest industry trends and changes, especially in the renewables energy sector.”
Stuart Dover, commercial manager at AEI Cables added: “We received a number of visitors to our stands at the shows, and there was high interest in what AEI Cables can do to help customers operating in what are challenging, harsh environments.”
AEI Cables recently moved into new premises in the Birtley Business Centre, marking its commitment to the North East.
