Family-run wholesale business Rayburn Trading to create 30 jobs
Family-run wholesaler Rayburn Trading has revealed new growth plans to mark its 60th year in business.
The Manchester-based company has set its sights on achieving a £90m turnover and creating 30 jobs in the next 12 months.
Rayburn Trading was founded after the end of World War II selling supplies from American ships.
Since then, the business has expanded to a team of 170 staff working at a 95,000 sq ft custom-built warehouse and 100,000 sq ft storage facility in Bury.
Rayburn Trading director Howard Goldman said: “Reaching 60 years in the business is a real achievement for us and one that we’re incredibly proud of.
“The retail and wholesale industry is one that is constantly evolving as consumer behaviours change, new territories become accessible and retailers expand their offering.”
He added: “We’ve worked hard to stay ahead of the curve and respond quickly to such changes, enabling us to establish a reputation for quick turnaround times and quality products, setting us apart from competitors.”
Rayburn Trading specialises in toiletries, household products and confectionery.
As part of its new growth plans, the firm said it will also expand into new overseas territories.
