Ice hockey team Manchester Storm to connect companies with new business club
Altrincham-based ice hockey team Manchester Storm has established its own business network to help up connect up to 200 firms in the region.
The group, called the Manchester Storm Business 200 Club, will run a series of networking events giving members the chance to meet the Storm management team and players.
Emma Kenny, the TV presenter and psychologist, will also be on hand to offer business insights.
Manchester Storm’s head coach, Ryan Finnerty, said: “Manchester Storm is firmly established as part of the North West’s sporting community, and we want to use that clout to help our sponsors and partners in the business community.
“With our excellent digital reach, strong community presence and ever-growing fan base, we are confident members of our Business 200 Club will truly benefit.”
He added: “Plus, our innovative networking events will be a great place for business leaders to get to know each other and break the ice – pun intended.”
Membership, which costs £200, will give businesses a presence on the Manchester Storm website as club partners.
