Accountancy firm relocates to Evans Property Group's Woodside House development
Accountancy firm Richard Smedley has completed a deal to move into the Woodside House commercial development in Horsforth.
Leeds-based Evans Property Group secured the letting, which saw the accountancy firm take a 3,830 sq ft office suite on the second floor of the building.
Woodside House is a detached building providing contemporary office accommodation over five floors.
Both the common areas and the office suites within the building underwent a £600k refurbishment programme in 2014 and now provide contemporary offices. Suite 1 of the property comprising 2,150 sq ft is currently available to let.
Richard Smedley is a chartered accountancy firm, which specialises in the needs of a diverse range of private clients. Due to recent expansion, the firm has chosen to relocate to the open plan, single floor plate office to enhance daily communication and provide additional space for future growth.
Woodside House is situated on Low Lane close to Horsforth town centre.
Richard Bean, asset manager at Evans Property Group, said: “We are pleased to confirm the latest deal for Richard Smedley at Woodside House.
“The property is situated in a highly desirable location, while the layout of the office suite provides the perfect platform for the company to continue to thrive and grow.
“This latest letting confirms the continuous demand for good quality office space within the North West Leeds area.”
Philip Shopland-Reed, senior surveyor at Carter Towler, who acted for Evans Property Group, added: “Richard Smedley was impressed with the open plan layout of the suite, along with the high quality finishes that Evans provided throughout the building.
“The property presents exceptionally well and its convenient location fits with the firm’s future growth plans.”
